Costa Rica has been a phenomenal place for Rhonda and I to live over the past six years. There have been frustrations and, for many people, it simply will never be "home". For us it has been ( and still is!) a simpler, more gentle place where life moves at a slower pace and the traditional values are still practiced and not forgotten... family is still paramount, money is not the center of all, and the basic values of trust, honesty and appreciation of the basics of life are what Costa Rica means.

But, despite all of the beauty and simplicity of Costa Rica...it is still NOT a simplified version of "life back home". And we have come to believe that everyone considering life here, either part or full time, should know the "good, bad, and ugly " about Costa Rica.

There is a tremendous amount of misinformation on the internet and the printed word, about Costa Rica. We regard it as our mission to ensure that everyone receives the facts BEFORE buying here. We are happy to answer questions, show people what our life here is like AND demonstrate what living in Costa Rica really entails. We love it here.
