How many of you get emails from International Living?    I have been on their mailing list for nearly ten years and consider them to be a pretty decent group.   And they have actually blazed a lot of trails and planted seeds in a lot of minds about living overseas…and given root to the thought that there truly are alternatives to life in the States.

For the past couple of years though, they have been stating that land in Costa Rica was “overpriced” and bargains were much better in Nicaragua, Mexico, and Panama.  ( yeah, they were also recommending Uraguay, Brazil, and Argentina…but face it, how many of us really want to face an entire day on a plane if we want a short term visit to the family “back home?” ).   Lately, however they have been changing their tune.
