In the past two weeks we have begun introducing our “postcards” which our newsletter subscribers have opted to receive.
Response has been absolutely overwhelming…and, at least for now, it will continue to be a regular feature from CR Home. Again…please know that all of us at CR Home are NOT professional sales people and certainly NOT hard sell. We are a family business and view our main goal as providing information and helping people achieve their goals…and , even if that means telling a potential client that we think that he or she does not belong in Costa Rica…that is what we do. So…please don’t think that we will try to “hard sell” you …we don’t and we won’t…EVER.
Much of what we see and do here is obviously related to the economic climate back in the States. Rhonda and I chose to live here for economic reasons and because we wanted a more affordable “retirement”. (Another story for another time) Today? Many are choosing Costa Rica for the same reasons but they are even more compelling now simply because ALL of us know that the huge deficits being accumulated by the present administration will ultimately have to be paid for by higher taxes…if not even worse alternatives. Most of us have already lost a large percentage of our retirement monies to real estate and the stock market…and we simply cannot afford to lose more. So…we have to be even more careful and prudent now. The day s when people could come to Costa Rica, fall in love with a gorgeous condo on the beach, and simply write a check against their home equity…are gone and probably will never return. So…those of you who thought Costa Rica was not affordable …or even in the realm of possibility…keep on reading and keep on watching!

Two level , two huge BR which can be easily divided into more, two baths, nearly 2500 sq. feet of construction with a 2210 sq. meter lot ( over half an acre ) . Needs some minor repair but nothing major. We think that this can be picked up for around $130K and two years ago it would have sold for twice that. Best deal on the beach.

***** Lastly, you would think that, from the pictures, this house would be selling for well over $3-400,000. Located on the beach near Parrita, very upscale area, this house is dirt cheap at only $150,000. And it IS the house many of you dream of.
